INTERNSHIP
1-4-12
I had my first day with the class, got to meet everyone that i get to work with. Today i got to observe, and walk around the class to meet students more one on one know bases. The goal of the internship is to gain new insites working with clients one on one. Also to learn how to make deadlines, printing, and so on.
12:30 to 2pm. (every day)
1-5-12
Second day, we showed my portfolio to the class and started to discuss about what they interests were, and took a vote on what we will shoot and write about! Math!
Background on the person who let me internship with Him.
He has been teaching for 20 years at Lee Eleementry, he has two beautiful children, and his goal in life in teaching is to get every child to reach or suceeded their goal. By allowing me to intern with him, he is giving me the chace with work with people one on one. get to know my “clients” know how to plan meeting with protential clients, and getting myself orgnized. You will be surprised on how demanding 4th grades our. They are your bigest Critique. 4th grades are not affraid to speak thier minds on what they feel, and that’s why I wanted a harsh critique.

Class kids got partners, and started brainstorming about their writing, and objects they want to use for their picture. The students are the client, and i have to make sure i meet thier standrds on what they see in the photograph.
12:30-2pm
9th to 13th
we had to go through a proccess on which the idea will be photograped, and if it will turn out in the long run.
From 12:30 to 2:30.(every day)
We got all stories together, and approved and started photographing on Wednesday.
16th to 20th.
On the 16th, we start setting up the first set, and started shooting! it only took a few min to shoo, so we got two other groups projects to be photographed.

Continued to shoot.
23rd to 25th last few days of shootin
working on the last few things to be photographed, and then i can begin the editing process. In this overall shooting range, i have learned to use differnt equipment. I have had to improvise many times…..sometimes the prop needs to be standing up, and the client didn’t know what to do, i had to improvise and come up with a sloution.

26th to7th:
Shot a few re-do’s, and photographed the last of the clients projects if they were absent.
12: to 2:30 every day
30th-3rd
started the first round of editing. First i imported the photo’s into lightfroom and did a quick batch proccessing. then from there, took idividual shots that needed to be merged, put together so the ordeal will go faster, and in a smooth orginized manner.
12:00-2:00pm (every day)
6th to 10th
Did more editing on my laptop(dell) and backed up all files. Having trouble with some sceens, some were slightly over bexposed.
12:00 to 2:00pm
11th (saturday) editing from 3pm to 10pm.
Had to replace computer screen shots with other shots, and worked on smoothing outlines, to create one final image
13th to 17th
More editing! I have over 60 images to create, and 120 singles to merge. Crazy! some photo’s are taking longer then expected. I learned that some clients are impatient.

20th to 24th
Been trying to finleize pictures, but the weather has been unpredictable. So editing at home for another 6 hours. We had photographed the class picture in the fish tank! so i have 33 students and one teacher to be cut out, and re-sized to fit in the fish tank!

27th to 2end
Finished the Class picture, and i have learned it’s hard to fit 33 students and one teacher in a tank, but it looks great. I have learned in this to go further in photoshop, and lightroom. I have learned out to resize for printing, and deadlines.

5th to 9th
Been looking at printing places, doing the last touche ups on the pictures, had to fix one all over again, but it happens. Clients have been unpaitient, but seem greatful of the project i have been doing, and are anxious to see the end product.

12-16
Researching places to print. Learned that certin place you print at, don’t know what they are doing and have to look into another location to print finals at. (costco…..not good) best place so far to print at is at Camera Connection.
19th to 21st.
12:00 to 2:oopm on the 19th……
finalzed last of the projects, met with the students to see if the product”photo” was complete to their standards. Finalzing prestion for May 31st 5pm to 8:30pm.
